Nice to meet you, Amanda. I really like the idea of just smiling, and then the reasons come later. Japanese people are not a group that smiles very much (especially men), and I think I am particularly bad at it. Until now, I think I have felt like I couldn’t allow myself to feel okay unless something happened first. Thank you, Amanda.

Nice to meet you too, Keiichiro. It is very beautiful to imagine that a simple post from me might encourage you to allow more smiling into your world. Thank you so much for taking time to share this with me.

This is wonderful. Choosing a quiet smile over a heavy thought brings a huge difference in the way we live. Life becomes more lovable when we choose light over darkness, joy over sorrow. I personally feel that making these gentle choices is a real gift we give ourselves. Everyone who reads this, keep smiling and living a loving life.

This was such a joy to read this morning. Your words are like a gentle nudge toward lightness. I found myself smiling for no good reason too. Thank you for sharing the kind of perspective that lingers long after I finish reading.
